Beautiful, bt a boit of a hassle

I had my wedding at Harkness in June 2011. It was like a fairy tale, so amazing! I could not imagine a more beatiful day. However, that being said I was not pleased with how things are run at Harkness. The head woman, Sarah hargis was rude and snotty when I asked questions. Eolia requires we picked a caterer from their list, which would be ok, but all the of the cateres were EXTREEMLY expensive (cheapest was 13 k for 150 people and very dasic dinner), and there was all sorts of hidden restrictions they didn't tell us about untill the day of our wedding. For instance we paid an extra 500 to rent the pergola, but they didn't tell us we couldn't set up chairs in front of it in the garden untill we tried to do so. It made no sense because if we had faced wedding the other way we could have had chairs, and paid alot less. Then they wouldn't allow sparklers, but would allow open flames. We were not allowed to pass out our favors (homemade limonchello) because "minors might get the alcoholic bevereages" ( We had no minors at our wedding!) The final rudness was we had last call an hour before the end of the wedding, and my husband went up to get a final glass of wine, Sarah Hargis hent up to him and lectured him about how it as after last call, and no one was allowed anymore alcohol, and tried to take his glass. Very Rude. I was not pleased at all with their behavior.
