Hi my husband and I are looking for a spot to renew are vows because we didn't have a real wedding the first time.Just a jp and hhere dogs .weare plaining a 05/05/2018 date and my husband came across your gorgeous place. I looked at it with him and agree that it is amazing. And we would like to now what comes with it and how much per person. He is telling me that the one price is jjst for dinner do you provided the music or do wd have to. Wehe just whants to know what is included in the price.

The River House is just a gorgeous wedding venue. The picturesque view from the back decks for our late October wedding were breathe taking. The outside ceremony site was just what we wanted. The food is outstanding. We have many finicky eaters in our family and our guests were just raving about the food. The options are limitless. The bridal suite is perfect. Prior to the wedding my bridesmaids and I were able to relax listen to music and snack all while peeking out to see the guests as they arrived! The grooms room was also perfect with a big screen TV and poker table. The staff is amazing. I can't say enough about the staff, from the moment we toured we knew this was the place for us! Hattie and Michelle answered all of our questions almost immediately and they were more than happy to accommodate any requests that we had. Honestly the days leading up to our wedding were super stressful and knowing that Kelley was going to be there for our big day put us completely at ease! Book your event at the River house and you will be wowed and your guest will talk about it forever. Thank thank thank you River house our wedding was perfect.

I was a photographer at a recent wedding here and the venue is absolutely gorgeous and I know the bride and groom were in great hands as everything was organized and put in place. They were also there to help with every need. I would definitely book my wedding there and it has nothing to do with the venue itself. What I did not appreciate was a waitress being very short with me when I was simply asking a question. I am there to do my job and if it requires me asking a question to understand what is going on then please answer politely. I try to do detail shots before the ceremony, and was wondering if the table was ready yet. I got a snappy "NO!" and an eye roll. Maybe she was having a bad day, which is understandable, but a simple "not yet, but it should be ready soon" with a smile on her face would have been sufficient. Everyone was else was extremely nice and helpful, but I would suggest that management go over ways to politely respond to vendors and/or guests when they have a question.

The staff at the Riverhouse went above and beyond. From the initial meeting with Jim to every phone call, email, or questions that I had for my wedding planner or the rest of the staff. My husband's military order were changed which caused us to change our wedding date, and they made everything so easy for us. The food was just as amazing as the service. They were great to our guests and vendros, and especially to myself and my husband. Any time I needed something, or even looked like I needed something (sometimes I think that Hattie new what i was looking for before I did) they were right there with the answer. Everything was fantastic, and I have no doubt that this venue will be used by my friends and family over and over again. I'm even trying to find another reason for my husband and I to hold something here! Highly Suggested. YOU WILL LOVE IT!

I can't express how much I enjoyed working with the staff at The Riverhouse. The Riverhouse is a amazing place to have a wedding. Both myself and my husband were pleased with everything The Riverhouse had to offer. Our wedding was such a wonderful day, and The Riverhouse staff helped to make it that way. It's been 5 months since our wedding and our guests are still talking about how much fun it was and that they have never been to such a beautiful place like The Riverhouse!

To everyone at The Riverhouse: This is the first time since Lauren and John's wedding that I have had a chance to pause and I wanted to thank you for your significant contribution to making the day a success. It is so unusual today that someone delivers "as promised" and you did that wonderfully. You and your staff made everyone instantly comfortable and that just set the tone for a wonderful evening. You made sure you found Pat Gehrig even though she came a little late and made sure she had as much to enjoy as all of us without celiac. I got numerous comments on how special the bartender in the dance room was. They tell me she greeted each person and made them feel special. Even the tipping was handled exactly as I wanted it. When people really wanted to tip they could do so but it was moved out of sight so no one felt an obligation to do so. And of course the food was excellent. Everyone who mentioned it to me loved it and especially liked the fish which we had chosen based on your recommendation. And all that was after "the best hors d'oeuvres ever" according to most of my guests (including me). I enjoyed everything I ate. It was a wonderful night and Barbara and I do very much appreciate all your work as well as the work of your staff. My husband and I were married at The Riverhouse in October. We had our ceremony on the outside patio. The day was perfect. All 210 people who attended loved the food and the service. They are extremely organized and friendly. We loved every moment. We would recommend it to anyone.

From the personal attention I received all through the planning stages, to the incredible food and service on the big day, The Riverhouse is truly one of a kind! it is the most beautiful building and looking down the Connecticut River from their terrace was enchanting. I had a great experience with The Riverhouse!! I booked my wedding reception before The Riverhouse was actually built, Jim Bucko and his staff made me feel very comfortable and confident that i would have no worries and I didnt!! Jim informed me throughout the building process of progress being made. I truly felt like I was treated like a princess from day one. The day of my wedding was phenomenal! Two of the owners Jim and Trevor were there to greet me when I arrived and two wonderful woman that work w/ them Libby and Robin. My day was made very special by all of them. The wait staff had a smile on there faces all night!! Trevor was looking out for my husband and i all night w/ drinks and offering us food where ever we went!! I am very thankful and can not say enough about my great experience at the Riverhouse! The people there touched my heart and I hope they know what they did for me!!!!!!
