With that thought in mind, we turned to this modern and chic Hartford City Hall elopement documented by the supremely talented Robyn Blasi Photography.
Knowing they couldn’t wait a moment longer to be husband and wife, Emily and John took a leap of faith and decided to skip the traditional wedding ceremony and opt for a intimate elopement with their closest friends and family. But, before you start thinking that this day lacked for loveliness, think again. Against the grand architecture inside Hartford City Hall, their day came to life as they exchanged tearful vows overlooking the beautiful first floor of the building below. And wow did their style added just the right touches of personality to their simplistic elopement! She showed off her chic side with a non-traditional black dress and fur shoulder wrap and he took a classic approach with grey-blue suit. But, nothing, and we mean nothing, outdid their smiles and the emotion that flowed throughout this celebration!
Like we said, sometimes you just need to go back to the basics and dive into what log e is all about. It’s easy to do that with these two, especially since their love for each other is so apparent. So, as you peruse Emily and John’s magical day, we encourage you to take a moment to reflect on true love and all the joys of spending a lifetime with the one whom your soul adores.
