It was such a pleasure working with Modern Trousseau. I bought my dress from the White Dress by the Shore in Clinton, CT - but had my fittings at the Modern Trousseau studio. I live in NYC and was more than happy to make the trip to Woodbridge, Connecticut to have my fittings. Everyone is so incredibly talented - I couldn't believe that we could see the room where the actual fabric for my dress was cut. So much care and thought goes into each dress. My dress fit so well thanks to Monica. I even got to try it on with Callie! Working with Modern Trousseau was one of my favorite parts of wedding planning.

From choosing between all the beautiful gowns with Jen at the Charleston store to the fittings at the studio in Connecticut, it was all such a fun experience! My dress turned out incredibly beautiful and fit so perfectly. Having my name and wedding date sewn into the gown made it even more special!

I got the Ainsley dress by Modern Trousseau and absolutely loved it. Modern Trousseau allows you to customize all their dresses - I had a cap sleeve and sheer lace back added to mine. The overall experience was great - from the wide selection of dresses to the responsiveness of the design room when I decided I wanted to make a slight alteration to the dress. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a wedding gown, particularly if you're looking for lace!!!
