Peter was my DJ along with JR. They did a good job making sure I got exactly what I wanted. They made sure they didn't play any of the songs on my do-not-play list (even if someone requested them). I had to go up to Peter and give him the "ok" if I decided to have a song play that someone requested that was on my do-not-play list. Peter made sure that all the guests were up and dancing and having a good time. The only thing I wish we got was props during the conga line. But everything was perfect. All the main songs were played and everyone got introduced nicely. I especially like that they take pictures during the reception! But overall I highly recommend After Hours DJ. The price really isn't bad considering these guys are professionals and they know what they're doing.

After Hours is AMAZING! We found them through our venue and honestly, I can't even out into words how wonderful these guys were to EVERYONE. Our guests had a great time, my groom's Aunt even booked her 2 kids' weddings through Bert after our wedding! Before the introductions, Vinny came back and went, person by person, to make sure he had the correct pronunciation and role of EACH person. It was also my parents' 39th anniversary and they mentioned that even though we didn't ask them to! Bert knows how to play to a crowd! We were concerned about the music played at dinner, we didn't want anyone to feel like they had to shout across the table or that they had to eat to the pace of the music! We told Bert that we wanted Elton John, Billy Joel, Eagles etc. for the music genre and left him to his own discretion. Bert surprised us and the guests with a fun game between courses. He accomodated last minute changes and was a JOY to work with. Most of all, I wanted to do something very special for my new husband and Bert made it possible. I recorded a song we had planned to dance to before hand but my husband didn't know until he heard my voice. Bert said he'd never done that before but it was SO easy to work with him and it went off without a hitch! There are 2 things that people constantly STILL compliment us on from our wedding over a year ago: the cake (YUM) and the music. People tell us all the time that they never had so much fun at a wedding! Bert, Vinny and After Hours are worth EVERY PENNY you spend. They may be higher than what you are expecting but you get what you pay for and guests loving your wedding is priceless!

From the moment we met Bert from After Hours, we loved him. He is extremely kind, well spoken and eloquent. Prior to meeting him, we'd spoken with another DJ from a different company who was pushy and aggressive. Bert was the complete opposite. He was patient and kind, and encouraged us to take our time making such a big decision. We had no doubt that he would be a perfect addition to our wedding, and we were absolutely right. Within days of our first contact with him, we had a beautifully printed planner (complete with wedding tips and poetry- one we even used in our ceremony) and a very easy to use online planner to ease the stress of the planning process. Bert accomodated our every request, and was extremely easy to work with. As he is also a JP, we also chose him to officiate our ceremony, and it was an excellent decision. Not only was the ceremony flawless, but his delivery was calming and comforting-- Exactly what we needed!! And as far as the reception- it was perfect. Bert and his colleague Vinnie pulled off a perfect event with perfect music choices and kept our friends and family on the dance floor. They even had time to snap pictures of the ceremony and reception- something we will cherish forever!!! These guys are fabulous-- we would recommend them to anyone-- they are worth their weight in gold, definitely worth hiring!!!

For my wedding I went with Bert from After Hours DJ. I cannot rave enough about how AMAZING he is to work with!! This is the best vendor out there. Professional from day 1. Within days of booking I had a custom folder that was mailed out to me and bound with EVERY detail of the wedding planning process in it down to the minute. Big packet that was just so impressive and so helpful. Bert followed up with EVERYTHING promptly. The wedding so was smooth and wonderful because of After Hours DJ. Even after the reception was over he came and handed me a CD that had all of our most important wedding songs on it (cake cutting, first dance, bridal party intros, etc) WITH a picture of me and my groom on it!! The reception wasn't even over and they were still a step ahead with their planning and professionalism. Bert will make you feel like the only wedding he has planned is yours, I don't know how he does it. If you want a TOP NOTCH wedding DJ this is the one to choose. My father-in-law even ran up and tipped them before he left he was so impressed with how great they were. All my guests said it was the best wedding they had ever been to. Just all in all an amazing thing to have on your wedding day. It's like having a wedding planner, a DJ, and MC, and a good friend watching every step of the wedding and making it great. I loved these guys!!

Working with AH was great. Our ceremony was on the beach and they were there providing the sound for the ceremony, but I did not see them until the very end!! I couldnt tell they were there! Of course, the reception went flawless and it was all a combination of Sal's personality, his constant communication with me and with the staff at our venue, but most of all, his complete devotion to our event. We had very specific requests and Peter accomodated us on every one. Bert was a true professional. The value of their package is unmatched. We would recommend them to anyone!!

He did everything we wanted! The music was great, he kept a good crowd on the dance floor all night and played a great mix of music. Something for everyone. He was not intrusive, or cheesy - like no other DJ I've ever seen. His level of professionalism was above and beyond our expectations, I really can't say enough!
