Using extraordinary fabrics, florals and other design elements to create magical and fairytale-like backgrounds and scapes. We love creating events that capture your personality and style. We are the premier event designer for the Mystic Area.

Each client brings the pictures, the stories they want to share, their vision and dreams. We then add the unique detailed special touches and together we create stunning memories. Many of our decor and design elements are custom and only available to A Gala Affair clients
Each detail of your event will be attended to so you can relax and be guest at your own event enjoying your family and friends. If you merely need some experienced guidance in the weeks prior to the event, we will happily design a package for you.
We are members of ISES (International Special Event Society) and the Greater Mystic Chamber of Commerce. Deborah Dempsey was a trained Marriott Executive Meeting Manager and Corporate Sales Manager of three Marriott Hotels located in the Hartford area before beginning her comapany 10 years ago.
