I recently went to East West Bridal to look for wedding gowns. I say look because I had other appointments in the area. After being there for over 3 hours trying on tons of wedding dresses, one of the ladies in the shop picked out a dress for me to try .... which turned out to be the one. I only had an 1 hour appointment, but was there for 3 and they were super helpful with me and didn't rush me at all. The lady helping us was extremely nice and I would recommend going there due to her customer service!

I went to East West Bridal in Manchester Connecticut my sister who got married last September to look at bridesmaid's dresses. I had tried on several dresses and we picked out one that she liked, the dress fit me perfectly (size 12) We decided to keep that as a definite option for the dress but wanted to see if any other stores had anything she liked, after two days we returned to E.W bridal to order the dresses. When the owner measured me he told me i could get a 11 and get it taken out or get a 13 and take it in which threw me off because the 12 fit me perfectly, so instead of listening to someone who is supposed to know what he's talking about i went with the 12 and didn't have to pay any extra! Then my older sister payed extra for a plus size dress and two times after that the owner tried to charge her more saying it wouldn't fit when she has a seamstress who measured her perfectly. Basically what it comes down to is the owner is a creep, not very helpful and is only after your money, don't expect great service once you've handed over that check, not that you got it to begin with!

I called East West Bridal and made an appointment just to "look" at wedding dresses after not finding anything I liked at David's Bridal. The bridal store was a little cramped and very small. After viewing their website, I didn't find one dress I saw on the website in the store. Although, the young girl helping me was extremely nice and patient, I felt there was no real personal touch or structured format of the appointment. It felt more like a free for all. I decided to try on about 5 or 6 dresses and found one I absolutely loved. The quality is much better than David's Bridal, but you will pay for it, this dress was $1000.00. I spoke with the owner about ordering and delivering times, as I was concerned being my wedding is only 5 months away. He wasn't very helpful at all, in fact I felt like I was putting him out by ordering my dress " this late in the game". He said he wouldn't be able to get it in till late June...that's 4 months away....why would it take that long?? Does he want my business? He had the feel of a used car salesman and although I loved the dress and probably won't find anything I like as much, I wouldn't buy from him because he seemed very concerned with the money aspect and nothing else.

My experience with E.W. Bridal when I first started looking for bridal dresses I first went to Davids Bridal, thinking they have a big name to stand up to they must be ok...they were terrible to me. I left immediately and looked for bridal shops in the area on my gps. saw E.W. bridal and went with it. For my first visit, As I walked in they were extremely helpful. I did not have an appointment and the lady there let myself and my maid of honor try on about 10 different dress each and was extremely helpful to the both of us. We did not buy anything that day but made an appointment to come back. 2nd visit was not what i expected. Rude, pushy, and uneducated new associate. I loved the dress and it was a great price for bridal only $577.00 so i bought it anyways. Asked about alterations and the owner said starting at 15.00. thought to myself not bad. 3rd visit- after getting a call 4 months later that my dress was in, I made an apt. to have a fitting. When I arrived- owner acted like i was bugging him and had no clue i had an appointment. and was not ready for me. He did not help me with my dress or help lace it up, told me he didn't have anyone to help me. So, i made ANOTHER apt. for the same thing. 4th visit. Very rude, asked what do you want. Told him i had an apt. and again was not ready for me. Took me upstairs where the seamstress was in a no AC room. when it was about 90 degrees outside. spend 2 hours with the seamstress and she couldn't figure out how to bustle my dress. And shes a professional?? She said she was going to charge me for today and for the hem (which she did not do) and will figure out the bustle later. Went downstairs to pay for today and the hem and it came to $150.00!!! so i paid it thinking that's what it really cost. went home and called a seamstress and she said i was out of my mind for letting them charge me that. I already felt uncomfortable with her doing my dress, did not seem like she knew what she was doing. I went back to get my dress and told the egotistical owner that i wanted my dress and my money back for the work that was not done. he refunded me most of it back but had to charge me for the seamstresses time, which was fine. big suprize, he was rude again. did not thank me for my purchase, nothing. We asked when my maid of honors dress would be in and he said next month- and then called 3 hours later saying it was there. Unorganized!!!! So we went back again that day to get her dress. I started just looking at the veils hanging there and the owner says to me, "you like that one?" i said yes...and he said "you buy right now, I charge you". Talk about used car salesman speech!!! It was not the bridal dress shopping experience i was looking for...but you get what you pay for i guess. cheaply priced dresses and charge you premiums for alterations evan though you bought the dress from them. Beware, not a great experience at all. will not go back to or recommend!!!

Have made numerous phone calls to the store for it's convenient location to where I live. Still on the hunt for 8 bridesmaids gowns, 3 flower girls but seem to be a bother every time I call with questions. Associates who answer calls are usually short and not helpful or friendly in any way, so turned off I won't even attempt stopping in to offer my business.
