Our son and his wife’s reception was recently held at the Waterview. I had never been inside, and when I did step in I was positively impressed with the decor and the atmosphere. Soaring ceilings, comfortable furnishings, tasteful lighting and a general “high end” feeling made me understand why they so liked the place when they visited it. This was a mid-January wedding, so we didn’t get to enjoy the outside surroundings as one might in summer, but you could see the lake and the terraces that no doubt are beautiful compliments to the interior when the weather is warmer. Everything was first rate:the bar, hors d’oevres, the martini bar, entrees, ice cream sundae bar — just high kudos all around. Staff were professional and never intrusive; could not have been more courteous or helpful.
