Very Creative/Wonderful to work withi
I don’t remember how I first heard about A Gala Affair, however, when I met with Deborah Dempsey (owner) I knew she was the right person for my wedding.
My wedding was in October in an empty barn (The Barns at Wesleyan Hills). I needed and wanted a LOT of floral (trees, centerpieces, personal flowers etc). Deborah totally got my vision and was so accessible. A few weeks before my wedding she invited me to her studio in Stonington to show my mock ups. It was so nice working with her and experimenting with the arrangements. She also accompanied me on a walk-through of my venue and negotiated details with the catering manager.

She also provided planning and print-outs of programs, and even linens. She searches for the best possible price without sacrificing quality/creativity/beauty.
I still have my wedding bouquet as well as some centerpieces.-which were stunning and have dried beautifully. Some people don’t prioritize floral in their wedding budget, however, whatever your budget, Deborah at A Gala Affair will do a beautiful job and is amazing to work with…she even travelled (my wedding was in Cheshire/Middletown).
