Tommy did a great job with our wedding this past summer! The best part was probably our funny first wedding dance. We gave Tommy the songs that we wanted included in our funny wedding dance and he compiled them together for us. He gave us back the song with plenty of time to practice and it was a total surprise to all of our family. Our family and friends still talk about it! He was very professional before and during our event. He had several great documents to help in preparation for our wedding such as frequently used bouquet toss songs, entrance songs, and cake cutting songs. On April 12 we got married at the Villa Bianca and DJ Tommy was amazing! We had a hard time choosing our DJ, going with a recommendation from my cousin who previously used DJ Tommy, we decided to call. Tommy called right away and immediately he seemed like a great choice. After our meeting and contract signing, it was super easy and organized from there! All paperwork was online and available with suggested song lists. Tommy was quick to reply to all my emails anytime a question arose. As the date got closer, we met and finalized paperwork and went over all of our extras...we ordered a monogram, which came in perfect and exactly as it was displayed to us. Tommy even spent 2 hours trying to find a place to display the monogram when we realized the new dance floor was too dark in the center. He took pictures and we met again to decide the best position. It was so easily fixed because Tommy took care of everything without stressing me out! He handled it all! The extra lighting was a great added extra to our wedding as well as all the goodies to give away and get the dancing going even more! Tommy stuck to our playlist and made sure we were ok with all requests! He did exactly what we wanted. We couldn't be happier with our service and experience. Celebration Entertainment was the best. Our DJ Tommy did everything as we expected-we wanted a specific music program and he laid it out exactly as we wanted-from the traditional Italian and Polish folk songs to the dance music-it made our wedding one of the most fantastically fun days of our lives. Many people commented to us afterwards that this was the best Disk Jockey service they ever heard. The quality of the sound was excellent, and Tommy set up 2 stations- one outside the restaurant for the wedding ceremony, and then another inside for the dinner and dancing. Because this was a small wedding and site, we originally told Tommy that there wouldn't be dancing. But guess what? He got everybody dancing! In addition he took the time to meet with us before the day and came to the restaurant with us to scope out the venue and make sure that everything was set up in advance. We would definitely choose Celebration Entertainment for our next party.

The title says it all! Our Wedding was simply AWESOME thanks to DJ Tommy and his crew from Celebration Entertainment.! Our wedding was held on the grounds of the Villa Bianca in Seymour Ct. We had an outside ceremony, outside cocktail hour, and inside reception. Tommy arrived with 3 different sound systems to accommodate all three areas! Prior to our day, we met with Tommy and was very impressed with the time and planning that was given to our event. He went in to detail on what music we would like to hear, as well as worked wonderfully with our Minister for the sound and music at our ceremony. We truly could not have had a better experience and HIGHLY recommend his service. You will not be disappointed!

I got married on 8/12/12 and DJ Tommy was amazing to work with from start to finish. Having never been married before, I was a newbie to much of this. Tommy was there the whole time, reminding me when things needs to be done and giving me practical tips that helped make the day go by flawless. The venue I chose, The Barns at Wesleyan Hills, requires it’s DJ’s use their setup. DJ Tommy went up to the facility a month in advance to meet with the wedding coordinator and the owner to make sure that he understood the setup so that there was no confusion the day of. The day of our wedding, he arrived HOURS early to be sure that everything was set up properly.Tommy and I met in advance to go over my music preferences and do-not-play list. There was not a single song played that I didn’t like, or that upset any of our guests (despite the vast age range in attendance). The bridal party ran a bit late during cocktail hour while we were taking photo’s os by the time the reception started, people we’re ready to get right out on the dance floor. Instead of letting things get stale, DJ Tommy quickly approached me about opening the dance floor right away rather than waiting for the Father/Daughter dance. I got to enjoy my food, and make a round before getting my dance with my father in, and all of our guests were having a blast in the mean time! We had our wedding June 1 at the cornucopia in Torrington and had tommy as our dj. We couldn't have asked for better service!! Our wedding was the Sunday October 30th after the big fall snowstorm . We actually had no power during the first hour of the event-but DJ J.D. set up on time and waited with us for power to come on. And it did! If the DJ hadn't showed up and had just written our event off due to the storm, it would've flopped! But power was restored (as promised by the utility crews two streets over at 10am that morning) and the reception was a blast! J.D. kept the dancefloor rocking and our wedding was saved!! We attended a wedding two years ago and Celebration Entertainment provided the music...it was awesome!!! Everyone was up dancing the entire time, the music matched every mood and when it came time to find our own DJ we knew to go to Celebration Entertainment. We worked with DJ Tommy and he was GREAT!!! My husband and I have an eclectic taste in music and DJ Tommy met our every need. He offered suggestions of music we had never heard of but could now never imagine our wedding without. DJ Tommy helped us find ways to include songs that aren't necessarily wedding appropriate but songs we love! The company provided speakers and microphones for our outdoor ceremony and were prepared to have speakers ready for an outdoor coctail hour prior to the reception; my husband and I never had to worry about it, DJ Tommy assured us it would be taken care of and it was. Many of our guests commented on how great the available music selection was. We even had a unique request to incorporate a group round of haiku at our reception and though DJ Tommy was not familiar with haiku he never hesitated to run it because he truly worked to make our wedding what we wanted it to be. Tommy was VERY easy to work with and has the unique ability to "go with the flow"... Considering the costs of other Dj groups, Tommy provides you with the exact same level of comfort and service as the others for reasonably less. Most of Tommy's buisness is conducted through internet and mailing, while this may have setup some confusion on the day of the wedding, it was easily worked through. I was initially disappointed that Tommy was not available to DJ my sister's wedding because I had first hand experience seeing him in action at my best friends wedding (he did an excellent job) - but he assured me Kevin was just as professional and competent. Tommy helped to make sure that everything went smoothly and worked wonderfully with St. Clements Castle to be sure everything was lined up before the big day. His preparation, flexibility and professionalism during the entire process resulted in a very sucessful wedding, where all the guests have been raving about what a wonderful time that they had. They were able to deliver exactly what we asked for; a fun, energetic party with the dance floor constantly packed, without us needing to ask for anything of them during the reception. Tommy was very helpful throughout the entire planning process and I would definitely use Celebrations Entertainment for another party in the future.

Celebratin entertainment did a fantastic job at my wedding. I also had an albanian band to play music for the albanian guests, and Tommy cordinated very well with the band guys. The dance floor was never empty, everyone was having a great time.

We couldn't have asked for a better reception. Tommy & Mike did such an incredible job. The music was great!!! People who don't like to dance were even out on the dance floor. I just wanted to write a review for Celebration Entertainment to let you know what a great job they do. We were lucky enough to have Tommy MacKay and Cristal of our October 6th wedding and they did a fantastic job. We are an older couple (second marriage) and this was a daytime wedding, a combination that generally does not see many people out on the dance floor. That was not the case. Tom played all of the songs I asked him to and chose great music on his own! He read the crowd perfectly and played the right music each time. He also pronounced all of the names correctly during the introductions (which was very important to me personally as my children have a long complicated last name and were the maid of honor and a groomsman) I recommend Tommy and Celebration without reservation. We were married in September, and we could not be happier with how Tommy handled our wedding. The D.J. aspect of wedding planning was what caused us the most anxiety in our wedding planning, since I have been to too many events where the D.J. was awful, obnoxious, etc. Celebration entertainment came through with doing our reception the way WE wanted it, and the confirmation was in the compliments by numerous friends on my choice of D.J.! Tommy MacKay really understands that the event belongs to the people who hire him. I recommend him without reservation.

I"m so glad we picked Celebration Entertainment as our DJ. Tommy was great to deal with during the entire process and wonderful the day of. We heard all the songs we wanted to hear and he seemed to read the crowd wonderfully. Music was so important to us for our wedding since we love to dance and Tommy was definately the guy for the job. We had our wedding on May 19th, 2007 in New Haven. We booked with DJ Tommy about a year before. At first, we were not very happy with the sample DVD he sent us because the weddings appeared to be back from the 80s and quite cheesy. However, we got a great impression over the phone and met with him. It was great to see that he was genuinely enthusiastic and knowledgeable. He was very flexible and open to suggestions from the start. We were going for a very classic and sophisticated wedding where there were no line dances and overeager MCs. He and his assistant definitely achieved what we wanted. He was always available to meet in person and he returned calls and emails promptly. He also provided CDs with suggested music selections. My husband and I decided to provide some of our music and burned the mp3s onto a CD for DJ Tommy. We also filled out a form with the details of the wedding music and reviewed it with DJ Tommy a month before the big day. Overall, we highly recommend DJ Tommy and his crew!!! Our guests are still raving about the great dance music that we had at the wedding.

Tommy and his assistant Krystal were great. Our guests did not sit down the entire wedding. My husband and I had a very unpleasant experience with the reception hall we chose. Because of Celebration Entertainment, our guests had no idea what was going on behind the scenes. Tommy went out of his way to make our day a success. We were married outdoors on the day of a huge storm. Tommy spent the wedding morning on the phone calling every rental place in the phone book trying to get us tents, way above and beyond the call of duty. Celebration Entertainment did a wonderful job with our reception this July! They followed all of our requests, and played just the right music to keep everyone dancing the entire night! Alot of people commented on how great the music was, and how good the DJ's personalities were! We enjoyed planning our wedding with Tommy, and he was always easy to get a hold of, and very friendly every time! We met with a few different DJ's before choosing Celebration Entertainment, and there is no doubt that we would choose them again!

Celebration Entertainment just played my wedding reception in May, and they were fantastic! Tommy was my D.J. with Megan as his assistant, and they were both highly professional. They really listened to my likes and dislikes and made excellent selections for the reception. Celebration Entertainment was wonderful!! My husband and I chose them for our June 2004 wedding that was located outside. Celebration Entertainment was able to accomodate us with a set up outside for our ceremony and cocktail music, as well as a set up inside for cocktail hour, dinner and reception music. The music list is extensive to suite any age!! He had the latest Spanish music for my family and the best country and old rock for my husbands family and friends! Tommy, our DJ, was EXTREMELY friendly and flexible!! We told him what we wanted and didn't want and he complied with our wishes!! The price was VERY affordable and worth every penny!! I had a wonderful experience with Tommy. He knew what he was doing! He knew when things needed to get done (like the cake or family dances) but didn't hound me or drag me onto the floor. Tommy also didn't force me to do any of the traditional wedding activities. We did what I wanted. He played a great mix of slow songs and fast songs (which is what I requested). He also took requests from my guests. Tommy was also great with the kids (and there were plenty of them). All of my guests had a wonderful time. It's been a month and I am still hearing what a great wedding it was, and a lot of that is because of my dj. I received many compliments on him.

My wedding went smoothly and everyone had a great time due to the DJ, Tom. He played all the music my husband and I wanted and took the guests requests with no problem.
