Welcome THE RIVERVIEW, the latest waterfront addition to the Elegant Banquets group of facilities, which began hosting elegant events in May of 2008. We are confident you will agree that THE RIVERVIEW, located in the picturesque Weatogue area of Simsbury, CT, on the banks of the Farmington River, is something truly spectacular inside and out.

The thought and planning with great attention to detail that have gone into this new waterfront facility is truly exceptional. We invite you to view the granite lobby and dance floors, beautiful large crystal chandeliers, spectacular traditional styled oversized windows, high barreled ceilings, fireplaces, warm color hues and many other fine appointments. Outside, the grounds feature grand covered patios for ceremonies, and wonderful picturesque views of the beautiful Farmington River a mere 100 feet away. Modern and functional, but with numerous classical architectural elements, we believe we have captured the best of all worlds for a perfect frame around your very special day.

To Stephanie and the entire staff of the Riverview This is just a quick note to express our sincere thanks for your role in creating an unforgettable wedding experience for our daughter Marisa's wedding. Your staff was extremely professional and attended to all the details with a positive and friendly attitude. All our guests commented on how their every need was met throughout the entire wedding. They also commented on how much food there was and how everything was delicious. Having spent the past year coordinating every aspect of the day, it was an incredible joy for us to be allowed to enjoy ourselves, being comfortable that you were all working behind the scenes to provide an evening of effortless beauty.
