Taste, Taste, and Taste...let's break it down...

1) CAKE- Using only the finest ingredients, JCakes begins with a freshly baked, moist cake that is never frozen. Never dry or dense, its light and fluffy texture leaves you feeling satisfied without feeling too full.

2) FILLING- The cake is then filled with homemade fillings(nothing comes pre-made from a tub), All Fruit fillings use fresh fruit, not a gelatinous pre-made fruit filling. From our most popular chocolate mousse and mixed berry fillings to a non-traditional oreo mousse-- we can accommodate any taste bud.

3) FROSTING - Finally frosted with your choice of flavored buttercreams or rich chocolate ganache. Our buttercream is a true french style, merengue based buttercream which is not overly sweet. It is extremely light and creamy using european style butter (no shortening!).

JCakes prides itself on a memorable cake experience. Your dinner service should end on a high note with a wedding cake that leaves a positive, lasting impression with your guests. Your wedding cake will be talked about the next day.

We encourage couples to schedule a complimentary cake tasting and cake design session. We do book early so we recommend early planning to reserve your wedding date.

Hope is not only a great pastry chef, she is a great person and a pleasure to work with. We had a cake tasting, which was tasty and fun but very informative as well. Hope's knowledge and love of her work helped me to create my dream cake. Just when we thought JCakes could not get any better, it did. Hope said three words that would change my husband's life forever….chocolate and peanut butter. Ceaser, being a typical groom didn't really care about wedding details, until he heard those words from Hope's mouth. From that phrase came the ultimate grooms cake. Chocolate cake, peanut butter mousse with chocolate ganache. I once thought peanut butter and chocolate-a required taste for a man. I was so wrong. It was the HIT of the wedding. The poor groom only got a few bites but the guests LOVED it. It was AWESOME delight for all the senses. Its smelled wonderful, it was beautiful for all to look at, felt soft and smooth in on our mouth, and the taste was super! My husband dreams and talks about that cake 4 months after our I do's.
