We used Dave Parks from Spin Doctor DJ & Lighting for our wedding and he was phenomenal!! He was recommend by someone I work with who had recently gotten marred and used him for her wedding. The day of the wedding everything was setup timely and professionally. He even did the music for our ceremony at the church and still made it over to our venue in time to have everything ready to go for the cocktail hour and reception. The up lighting made the room!! It gave such a nice glow to everything and really tied the room together. I wasn’t sold on the up light initially but I am VERY happy we went with it. Additionally, he brought two large flat screen TV’s with him, and to add a personal touch, he displayed a picture of my husband and myself when the reception room was first opened to our guests. The video montage he put together for us was very sentimental; our families loved it. He played it on the two large flat screens so the whole room could see it. Dave was great! At our final meeting we ran through the entire wedding day to make sure everything was set. Dave gave great recommendations and insight when we needed it and was also very open to our ideas. The day of the wedding the entire evening ran perfectly. He informed us ahead of time when everything was going to happen; the introductions, the first dance, the cake cutting, garter and bouquet toss….etc. We were never confused about what was going on or where we should be; Dave made sure we were completely informed. Most importantly he played the right music at the right time and all of our guests had a blast! One of the first things you will notice about Dave is his passion and enthusiasm for what he does; which makes him the perfect DJ!
