More than just an officiant

Bettie-Jeanne officiated my wedding on July 18th 2009 and I must first say that Bettie is no ordinary officiant. She spends the time to get to know every couple that she works with so that she can write a ceremony that is perfect for them. She and her husband Jim met with us several times before the wedding, asked us plenty of questions, and even interviewed our parents at the rehearsal dinner. She then compiled all of the information she gathered up and didn't write just any old ceremony, but our "Love Story". She had lots of helpful suggestions (I'd never known about a wine ceremony, but it's such a neat idea) and was a major help even after the ceremony (she even stuck around to help us clean up).

Bettie-Jeanne and Jim entered my list of favorite people on July 18th. It was such an honor to have such wonderful people there to make my wedding day that much more special. Every single one of our guests was amazed by how entertaining, sincere and personal the ceremony was. And I feel that instead of having hired a justice of the peace, I gained 2 new family members.
