| After the Wedding.... |
| I had written a review before my wedding talking about how great the Elk's Crystal Ballroom is, well it's after the wedding and I'm here to give you all the full scoope. The Hall was Beautiful!!! As for the caterer though, the food was good, but there were alot of things that were promised and not delivered. I had asked for our cake to be delivered by tray and that his girls ask if a guest would like a piece instead of them setting it on the table in front of the guests and them not eating it. The caterer agreed to this the day before the wedding. Well needless to say the cake was cut up and left on the cake table for my guest to get up and get themselves. Then there was the water glasses. Both my mother and my cousin asked that pitchers of ICE water be set out on tables with stem ware. Again the Caterer said he would do that for us. Well needless to say again, there were plastic cups stacked on the tables with a karafe of room temperature water. There was alot more that was promised and not delivered, but I'll leave you with this. The caterer, nice guy, good cook, but if you want something done then get it in writing and have him sign it and make sure you get copies of everything!!! Other than that the Elk's Club is a beautiful and wonderful place to have a reception. Again if you are going to use their resident caterer get eveything in writting and copies of everything. |
