unhappy bride

I ordered flowers for my holiday wedding (months in advance). I wanted eucalyptus with red roses & baby white pom poms. I told them that I did not like white roses, which would include no white roses for my husband or the cake (they made the cake topper). All bouquets were to be the same & match the topper. I also mentioned that I wanted no carnations, as I do not care for them in wedding bouquets. The wedding day came and it was not until I got into the car that I noticed the flowers, and that is when the tears came down. The flowers were red roses with some type of white flower which resembled a carnation. I did see them before (cheap fillers). They left out the eucalyptus and includes some other green filler. I had a contract which reflected this, but somehow they did what they wanted. The cake topper was red & white roses, so you can imagine how upset we were. They did nothing right. I was also told that the cascading bouquet was the most expensive. I changed it to the regular bouquet, which was to be cheaper and she charged me the same (not too happy with that, but I shut my mouth). Now, with all of these mistakes, how is it that they did not bother to respond to my written complaint? In addition, they refused to deliver flowers to the groom & his party at another address. They told us that they like them to be delivered all together so we can make sure that everything is correct. As a result, the groom had to stay behind while his party went to the hotel (bride getting hair done). The florist just dropped them off and took off (not wait to see the groom & make sure that all was in order). This was not what I wanted & who has ever heard of a florist not delivering to the groom & his party. Shame on them! I spent a lot of time planning this. I even brought them a swatch a month earlier to make everything. The bridesmaids had burgundy ribbon wrapping the red flowers (not match to the apple red dresses. Once again... we were not happy. We would not recommend them for your special day!!!!!!
