Paul started DJ’ing and MC’ing in Houston, Texas in 1989. He started his own company shortly after and built the company up to a multi system company with 10 DJ’s working for him. He moved to Connecticut in 2001 and has continued his DJ’ing career since.

He believes that it is important to talk with the bride and groom before they hire him to make sure they are a right fit for each other, and then during the planning stages of their reception customizing their reception to their wants and desires.

Paul is a member of CPDA (Connecticut Professional Disc Jockey Association) and ADJA (American Disc Jockey Association). Paul will be happy to meet with you to talk about your wedding in greater detail before you make any commitments.

Our primary focus is on the quality of our DJ Service and not on the number of DJs we have or the number or events we book. Lightning Sound combines experienced djs with professional sound equipment. We carry a complete set of backup equipment with us so that if something does stop working we have a replacement. Our company is fully insured to protect you as well as your guests. We can provide ceremony music, a separate ceremony sound system and wireless microphone for the Minister or JP. Our optional Wedding Light Package is specially designed to enhance the mood of your reception without using fog.

Lightning Sound can offer “a little something for everyone”, so that guests of all ages can enjoy the music and dance. Your DJ can add excitement by doing group dances to get everyone onto the dance floor and having fun. Add our extensive music library of over 32,000 song titles, including Country, Christian, and Spanish, and you have all the elements needed for a successful and fun event. Our music library is updated monthly with current hits. To create your customized music list, you can search our complete music database online.
