Alena's Bridal

For my wedding, they ordered me a size too large for my wedding dress, even though the trial size in the shop fit me like a glove. They dragged their feet with alterations (including my wedding gown)....I had to drive one of my bridesmaids dresses cross state for a third fitting, because they screwed up the alterations on round one and two - not to mention they ordered this bridesmaid a dress that was two sizes too large. The shop owner was terribly rude when I wanted to go for my final fitting three days before my wedding which was OUT OF STATE! I am convinced that they ordered three out of five bridesmaids dresses one size too big to make the money off the alterations (which were expensive and poorly done).

It was a nightmare dealing with Alena's for my wedding, but I thought maybe it was a fluke and would give it another try. I recommended my best friend go there (who was also one of Alena's unhappy customers from my wedding).

Alena's they told one bridesmaid that she was a size 18 and that a size 18 was a plus size so it was an aditional $50. She got remeasured and surprisingly had shrunk 2 inches everywhere. We then explained to another shop owner about Alena's and she showed us the size chart from Jasmine. The plus size in that dress doesn't start until size 22 and the charge is only $20 extra according to the company, (Jasmine) that makes the dress. She was overcharging us $50. Plus Alena's had no class - they made us get measured up by the register, instead of in a dressing room or towards the back of the store.

Really, I don't know how the place stays in business with this unhappy bride and now a new unhappy bride.
