| An exceptional hotel is one that attracts not only out-of-town guest but area residents as well. The Lighthouse Inn qualifies as exceptional. A recent million-dollar renovation has restored the Inn to the grandeur of its past, and locals are stopping in for lunch and dinner in the Mansion Restaurant, drinks and music in the Meadow Court Lounge, or just a relaxing time on our beautiful patio overlooking Long Island Sound. Perhaps more important, theyâ??re entrusting the inn with their most important events, from corporate meetings and retreats to weddings and other momentous family celebrations. The Lighthouse Inn is the only location in Connecticut designated a Historic Hotel of America by the National Trust for Historic Preservation. |

| A life long Destination |
| We were married at The Lighthouse Inn in 2004. This is the type of place you feel at home in. The staff are unbelievably friendly,knowledgable, and down to earth. They made us, and our guests feel like the Inn belonged to us for the day. The inside has a beautiful-hard wood decore, fireplaces, and a great Tavern. Outside is just as grand- a huge great lawn, people playing volleyball, swimming in the pool, going to the beach, having drinks on the deck. They even have a spa. The food is excellent, The drinks were great! We will return here for anniversaries-and with our family throughout the years. |
