| We had our cake made by Kim's Cottage Confections, which is one of the Society Room's options. Before tasting the cake options at the mock wedding there, I wouldn't have chosen Kim's because their website isn't the best, but man, the cake is delicious! I wasn't really picky about the cake's appearance, to be honest, but it far exceeded my expectations. We discussed it by phone and they did an outstanding job. It was buttercream frosting, but they applied it so expertly, one woman kept swearing it "had to be" fondant and swore they must have made some kind of switch in the kitchen, but they didn't :)
If you're a chocolate lover, their chocolate cake with chocolate mousse is to die for, but they had lots of yummy flavors and fillings. |
