| Cynthia strives to produce artful images that tell a story with strong composition, attention to detail and connection with her subjects. With an energetic, fun-loving nature and "out of the box" shooting style, she captures alluring images that are fun and contemporary.
With a twelve year background in still life and food photography, Cynthia has been widely published, has won numerous design awards and juried fine art competitions. Her fine art works are included in several permanent collections worldwide, from New York to Paris. Cynthia loves to travel and lived abroad for a year on an independent study from "The Boston Museum School of Fine Arts" with a Polaroid sponsorship. This is where she began her love of photography.
Cynthia was introduced to wedding photography almost by accident when asked to shoot a friends wedding. Cynthia describes the event as "life changing" and notes that the connection was instant. "Weddings were a perfect combination of lifestyle, fashion, food and portraiture". Everything that she had been doing in the studio, but in "real time".
Cynthia lives with her husband and son in a historic home originally built by Howard Logan Hildebrandt, an impressionistic painter. It is the house that she grew up in. When not taking pictures or spending time with her family, she is often involved in a renovation project and feels a deep sense of responsibility to preserve the history of her home. |
