Memories to Last a Lifetime

Choosing a photographer for our wedding was one of the biggest decisions for us. We were not hiring a videographer so the images taken by the photographer would be the only recorded memories of our wedding day. From the moment I met Jim, I just knew he was exactly what we were looking for. HIs previous work was incredible, so many original and creative shots. His personality was a great fit, energetic yet easy going and willing to work with us to make it OUR day. He understood our request for mostly candid pictures and did exactly what we asked! One of the things I was insistent on was getting a picture of each table because I knew all of the guests would not be in every shot and I wanted to at least have one picture of everyone. He was able to do this quickly and painlessly for all of the guests. Jim was one photographer with 200 guests to capture...and he did a great job! So many of our guests complimented my husband and I on his professionalism, personality AND on his pictures. Jim was punctual, dressed to fit in with our guests, and right on target with each step throughout the entire day. The ceremony was a challenge because it took place in a short span of time. But Jim got a ton of great pictures and he didn't miss a moment! There were some pretty difficult shots to take for our formals because the bright sun was in our eyes but he did such a fantastic job that in the final pictures, you can't even tell! During the reception, he took so many pictures and looking back on it, he seemed to be everywhere. He got shots of pictures from every angle and seemd to get shots that no one else even noticed. He was always right in the middle of the action or excitement but so unobtrusive that you didn't even realize he was there! His service didn't stop at the end of the wedding day, either. Jim has been incredibly patient with our indecisiveness over which pictures to choose for an album. There are so many great ones! We continue to look through the pictures today and it brings back the day so vividly that we can remember exactly what was happening and laugh! Working with Jim was truly a stress free and wonderful experience. I have already recommended JIm to family and friends and will continue to do so. And, I will continue to use Jim myself when we have our own family for portraits and any other event needing a photographer. Thanks again Jim!
