From its creaky wooden floors and venerable ancestor paintings to its traditional New England cuisine and antique canopy beds, the Silvermine Tavern is everything a country inn should be, warm, friendly, inviting - and brimming with charm.
You can't build a country inn with character like ours. You have to give it time. And time - more than 200 history-making years of it - is what has made the Silvermine Tavern a place so special, you won't want to leave.

Had my wedding reception here
We loved the Silvermine Tavern. Hazel and her staff are great. Yes, there are drawbacks that you don't get as you do in a banquet hall/wedding factory such as you are all in one room and can see everything. We annouced everything and folks had the choice of getting up and walking to see what was going on or just continuing their dinner conversations.
What we did get was fabulous food (which our group could not get enough of) a very customer service focused staff and the place is oozing with New England/Old Inn charm.
Everyone at our weddding had a great time and we are very happy that we choose the Silvermine Tavern.
