Laura and Gary not only had a gorgeous wedding, but they also have a beautiful love story that was perfectly reflected in the big day. After dating for three years long distance, the pair welcomed their stunning daughter into their lives. Though they always knew they’d marry, the couple became engaged despite some weather woes during Gary’s big proposal. While Mother Nature didn’t cooperate during the proposal, she certainly showed off on the couple’s big day which began with the pair getting ready in their personal rooms surrounded by family and friends.
Laura’s beautiful Augusta Jones gown from The White Dress by the Shore featured a flattering fit and flare silhouette and lace which perfectly accented the vintage theme running throughout the wedding. The bride also showcased her personality through her stylish pair of blush pink Badgley Mischka heels and simple pearl accessories. Laura’s long blonde hair hung in gorgeous loose curls over her shoulders, and the bride’s natural beauty was able to shine through thanks to a stunning wedding day look by Simply Gorgeous by Erin Infantino. The bridesmaids dutifully and loving attended to Laura, but we can’t overlook how beautiful they looked as well. In flattering, chic blush pink dresses, the bridesmaids were almost as stunning as Laura herself. We can’t discount the groom, though! Gary wore stylish steel grey suit by Men’s Wearhouse with a perfectly complimentary pink bowtie. Even before the ceremony, this wedding was destined to be a (shabby) chic affair!
Laura’s bridal processional was truly a beautiful, moving moment. As she made her way to Gary, family and friends turned to see a stunning bride with a gorgeous smile. The pair married under a trellis elegantly decorated with stunning florals. As the couple exchanged vows, their love was clearly visible to everyone in attendance. It was perhaps most obvious as the pair was announced and made their way back up the alter. With beautiful, ecstatic smiling faces, the pair moved through their family whose love for the couple was surely felt.
Photos of the couple and their family and friends were perfectly captured and featued fun, beautiful vintage rentals by Sassafras Vintage. From the antique truck to the comfy furniture, the gorgeous photos allowed to couple to showcase their fun, lovely relationship. However, the stunning wedding didn’t end there! The couple transferred Laura’s shabby chic theme to the reception and transformed the venue into a rustic, vintage paradise! With beautiful, softly colored floral arrangements by Broad Brook Gardens and catering by David Alan Catering, the reception was a graceful, lovely affair. Later in the evening, the couple truly celebrated their love with musical help from Jock in the Box DJ service (who recently made the Wedding Reports Best Connecticut Wedding DJs list). Dancing was abundant, and the couple appeared to have a blast celebrating with their friends and family. We’re sure that Brian J Productions was able to capture some great footage to help the couple relive their big day for years to come. Congratulations to Laura and Gary on their big day!
