The elegant affair featured simple nautical touches, seemingly due to Kris being a member of the United States Coast Guard. Gorgeously captured by Esteban Gil Photography, the wedding is stunning and romantic with an All-American quality that makes the big day particularly special. So, sit back and take a look at Kris and Lisa’s gorgeous Coast Guard wedding.
The stunning day began with Lisa having some celebratory mimosas before making her way to the bridal suite in order to get ready. The bride looked wonderfully relaxed as she sipped on her drink while being pampered. Talented Larissa Lake Makeup emphasized her already beautiful features while Melanie Dias of Larissa Lake swept her brunette locks into a stunning updo that looked perfect under her veil. Soon, it was time for Lisa to slip into her beautiful Watters gown from Brides to Be dress store. The gown featured a flowing a-line silhouette and beaded detailing around the waist. She accented the dress with shoes from Ann Taylor that were prefect for the big day. The bridesmaids wore chic dresses from J.Crew that matched the wedding aesthetic perfectly. While Lisa and her bridesmaids continued to get ready, Kris was also preparing for the big day with his groomsmen in his own suite. Kris looked handsome in his Coast Guard dress whites alongside his groomsmen, and the group appeared to be having just as good of a time preparing as the ladies!
Not too much later, the pair was reunited at their beautiful church ceremony. Lisa and Kris were both glowing as they said their vows to one another. The pair practically lit up the stunning church in which they were married as family and friends looked on. As the pair was announced and made their way back up the aisle, guests rejoiced, and soon, the crowd was headed for the pair’s stunning reception. Lisa and Kris stayed behind with their wedding party to capture some gorgeous photos though. After the Esteban Gil Photography captured some perfect moments, the pair was glamorously taken to the reception by Gateway Limousine.
At the Gershon Fox Ballroom, the reception kicked off in serious style with the bride and groom making a grand entrance through curtains that had been romantically hung from a doorway at the ballroom. The stunning venue was decorated perfectly with navy and white linens and gorgeous calla lily centerpieces. The beautiful cake was created by the talented Modern Pastry Shop, and the bride and groom looked thrilled to be cutting into the delicious creation. Later in the night, the couple and their family and friends danced the night away thanks to music from Powerstation Events. The entire wedding appeared to be a stunning affair, honoring Kris’s Coast Guard service and celebrating the couple’s obvious love for one another.
