The Amber Room Colonnade offers an idyllic park-like setting in which to host your special day. Since opening our doors in 1979, The Amber Room Colonnade has established itself as one of Connecticut’s most prestigious wedding venues. The Estate features twenty-six private acres of meticulously-landscaped gardens, courtyards and lawn with seasonal colors, highlighted by a 10,000 square foot elegantly-appointed ballroom, which is also divisible in two. Each ballroom’s covered outdoor veranda provides the perfect ambiance to host cocktail receptions and ceremonies, and opens to scenic views – the perfect setting for cocktails under the stars or a garden reception. We had an unforgettable and amazing wedding thanks to the Amber Room and all the amazing staff!!! Doug was extremely helpful from start to finish in our wedding process and we couldn't be more thankful. From start to finish the Amber Room took care of everything and made sure we had everything that we needed and more! We requested a Spanish/Latin meal choice and they were more than happy to work with us, needless to say our guests loved the food, and still talk about it. We got married on Sunday, March 15, 2015. We had a limited budget and never expected that we could have our wedding reception at such a gorgeous place! From the second I called to make an appointment for a consultation to the day of our reception, everyone was so incredibly accommodating and professional. Besides our small budget, we were also limited to one date; but they came up with a package that surpassed our requests and imagination. The stress of your wedding day is unimaginable-no matter how simple you try to keep it. But when it came to the reception, I felt like everyone at The Amber Room lifted it off of our shoulders. They dignified our families with last minute changes and requests; cared for our guests as though they were their own family; spoiled my husband and I with our own private room to enjoy champagne and hors'derves (just to list a few specifics). I had my own decorations, and they set up the tables so gorgeously! And the food! Our guests STILL are talking about the food. The steak and chicken not only tasted incredible, but the portions were HUGE. They gave everyone 'take-home' containers-I'm telling you, it was awesome! The hors'derves were delectable. They have a full bar staffed, but we chose to go with wine on the tables. It was so elegant; so professional; I couldn't have dreamed of anything so lovely. It was still very much winter on our wedding day, so we couldn't take advantage of the beautiful grounds for our photos, but if you get married at a warmer time, that's another wonderful perk of this spot. I would definitely recommend The Amber Room. You will not regret it!

My husband and I got married a few weeks ago at the Amber Room Colonnade and can not thank the staff of the Amber Room enough! Doug Polistena our coordinator was nothing short of amazing. Everyone who helped with our Wedding Day and planning was so laid back and helpful, we never felt rushed or pressured into making any decisions. They kept us laughing and well fed! We were young and clueless when it came to planning a wedding and the Amber Room made everything seamless. Their staff is extremely attentive and the atmosphere is stunning without being overbearing. We took pictures on the grounds and the trees, rock formation, gazebo, and bridge are all beautiful backgrounds! Inside the lighting was a really nice touch and we had plenty of room to dance! We highly recommend their Photo Booth/DJ package. Our guests had so much fun and we have a copy of all the pictures whether they like it or not! I would absolutely recommend this venue to any bride in the future. Being stress-free is HUGE when you're planning such a big day :)

I never dreamed that on my budget I would be able to have such an amazing wedding. The Amber Room was above and beyond my expectations. Doug worked with us throughout to ensure that we were getting everything we wanted while staying in our budget. We were unable to try to the food before the wedding and were nervous about it. There was no need to worry. The food was truly extraordinary! The passed appetizers were abundant and delicious. There was such a variety. They just kept coming! We had prime rib and chicken and both were fabulous. All of the pieces of prime rib were enormous! I can't say enough about how delicious and beautiful the cake was! It was also made on site and I have never had a more delicious wedding cake. All of the guests agreed! The service at the Amber Room was also above and beyond. We were taken care of and catered to the entire night. We never had to worry or think about anything. Thank you so much for making our wedding day so amazing. If anyone is looking for a fantastic venue at a great price be sure to visit the Amber Room!

We had the beautiful wedding reception anyone could ask for at The Amber Room! Our guests cannot stop talking about what an amazing time they had, the absolutely fabulous food and the impeccable service. They made our wedding day on October 8th, 2006 the most unforgettable day of our lives! From the beginning planning stages until the day of the wedding, we were impressed with their professionalism, graciousness, flexibility and caring. Zoy, was an expert coordinator with all our vendors, she set us at ease and made it a stress free day.-no need for a wedding planner. The entire staff and especially our bridal attendant were courteous, attentive and went out of their way to ensure that we were happy, well fed and relaxed. The food was more than we’d even hoped, from the unbelievable cocktail hour, to the multi-course stylish and delicious dinner, it exceeded our expectations. Our guests are still commenting to us on the abundance of excellent food at the wedding. The Venetian tables were an elegant and fun way to end the day. I recommend The Amber Room as the ultimate venue for your wedding! We have nothing but happy memories of our beautiful day!

We had our ceremony and reception at The Amber Room and were thoroughly impressed with the staff and food. We had a wonderful time as did our guests and we would highly recommend them for anyone considering the Danbury area for their reception. We had a beautiful day and took many outdoor pictures. Our guests are still raving about the quality and quantity of food served. It was truly a memorable day for my husband and I.

Wedding reception I attended a wedding reception in April, and was extremely impressed. The assortment of foods, prompt staff, and excellent atmosphere resulted in a great time. I would highly recommend this place for newlyweds to have their reception.

The moment I walked through the front door I was greeted by the owner, Zoy Beretis, and was given a tour of the spotless facility. The grounds were also spectacular. The service I received from the planning of my wedding to my wedding day were above and beyond my expectations. The food was incredible and the day was perfect. I was thinking of hirind a wedding coordinator but had no use for one. Zoy helped me with all the details needed for my day. She was there from start to finish. At the end of the night she was even there to say congratulations and wish us well. All my single friends can't wait to get married at The Amber Room Colonnade.
Beautifully remodeled and still fabulous food
The new decor of the Amber Room is breathtaking. The rooms are a mixture of dark wood with a vibrant carpet. I loved the look. The wedding I attended there was one of the most beautifull I've ever been to and the food was definately the best I've had at any wedding.

The owners were wonderful. They always knew my name and went above and beyond what I expected. The food was delicious and my guests raved about it for months. The flowers and grouns are splendid and we took beatiful photos of our wedding. I loved my day and loved the place.
Excellent Food, Excellent Service, Spectacular Grounds
The food, the service, the facility, and the grounds were far beyond my expectations and previous experiences. The personal service by the owners was comforting knowing my reception was a top priority. I thouroughly enjoyed my reception and felt like a guest. I highly reccomend it to all who want the perfect reception.
