The rustic reception and ultra romantic venue combined to create a wedding that was essentially a fairy tale. Kat and Jamy’s wedding began with the two getting ready in their separate suites with their bridesmaids and groomsmen. Kat looked beautiful in her stunning sleeveless, lace gown, Betsey Johnson shoes, and Nagi Jewelers jewelry. Her natural beauty was accented by the talented team at Salon Massimo, and it’s easy to see why her bridesmaids — dressed in their own gorgeous dresses from Nordstrom Rack — were snapping photos of the gorgeous bride on her wedding day. Meanwhile, Jamy looked dapper in his deep grey three piece suit. We love the image of the couple reading letters from one another between a door. The mystery of seeing each other remained until the moment the beautiful ceremony began.
The beautiful outdoor ceremony looked as if it were something out of a fairy tale. We adore the greenery all around the bride and groom. The ironwork dome behind the pair added a bit of magical whimsy to the vow exchange. Following the ceremony, the pair took time to capture truly stunning images on the grounds of Bill Miller’s Castle. The antique boat, greenery, and breathtaking venue only added to the whimsical big day.
When the pair made it to their reception, the rustic details were evident and an incredibly unique touch to the fairytale venue. We love the yellow daisies and light blue linens that gave the ultra romantic venue a more down home, relaxed feeling. The blend of bright, rustic details in such a deep almost gothic space created a special, unique feeling that just can’t be replicated. We loved the inclusions of the bright pinks and yellows on the beautiful cake by JCakes. Event planner Blue Feather Creative truly did an incredible job with this Connecticut wedding, and we’re so excited to bring you the amazing images.
