[shareaholic app=”share_buttons” id=”4830626″]A nautical glam theme, a vibrant navy and pink palette, a gorgeous outdoor backdrop — yep, this summer wedding by Robyn Blasi Photography definitely had us at “hello.” The bride, Catherine, wore a breathtaking Allure Bridals mermaid gown with a flower appliqué belt from Dama Bianca Bridal and a classic up do and makeup by Naomi’s Salon and Spa. Her charming groom, Corey, donned a stylish light grey suit from Jos. A. Bank. After gussying up for their big day ahead, the lovebirds met on the docks of the marina for a special first look and gift exchange alone. Robyn Blasi Photography did an amazing job capturing the romance of this intimate moment!
Catherine and Corey’s Catholic influence ceremony took place on a beautiful stone patio outdoors at Saybrook Point Inn & Spa. Keeping it simple and focused on the importance of their vows, they kept their ceremony decor to a minimum — they chose a snuggly seating arrangement that would allow all their guests to feel close to them while they exchanged their wedding vows under a beautiful tree.
For their reception, things moved inside the venue’s jaw-dropping dining hall. In contrast to their ceremony, Catherine and Corey chose to go all out with glam and nautical decor for this portion of their celebration. Bright pink florals arranged by Floral Affair added sweet pop of bright pink throughout the room and to the top of the couple’s two amazing cakes designed by the ultra-talented Sweet Cakes. On the reception tables, navy linen napkins and candy favors awaited guests and added a nice touch of this deeper tone to the look. And, finally pink and blue uplighting provided a fun, energetic atmosphere for all the music and dancing that filled the rest of their evening.
